Sheryl Sandberg announces engagement to Tom Bernthal
Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg has updated her relationship status, announcing on Monday that she and boyfriend Tom Bernthal are engaged.
“Engaged!!!” she captioned a photo of the couple together on social media. “Tom Bernthal, you are my everything. I could not love you more.”
According to People, Bernthal — the founder and CEO of the consulting agency Kelton Global — proposed during a hike and picnic on Saturday afternoon.
The couple, who began dating in the spring of 2019, were set up by Rob Goldberg, the brother of her late husband Dave Goldberg, who died suddenly in 2015 while at a resort in Mexico.
Sandberg, 50, has two children from her marriage to Goldberg, while Bernthal, 46, has three children. Bernthal’s brother is actor Jon Bernthal, who starred in “The Punisher” and in the early seasons of “The Walking Dead.”
