Jennifer Aniston shares dessert with ex John Mayer ahead of the Oscars
Jennifer Aniston and her ex John Mayer shared dessert at the starry Sunset Tower Hotel ahead of the Oscars.
On Thursday, Aniston, 50, arrived with her close friend Amanda Anka, who’s the co-producer of Aniston’s AppleTV+ series “The Morning Show.”
Meanwhile, a source exclusively told Page Six that Mayer, 42, — who has remained good friends with Aniston after they split in 2009 — showed up at the exclusive hotel’s Tower Bar with Bravo honcho Andy Cohen to see her.
“John Mayer and Andy had dinner at the San Vicente Bungalows earlier on Thursday, then headed to the Sunset Tower for dessert with Jennifer,” the source tells us. “It wasn’t a romantic meeting, they are good friends, the four of them had dessert.”
The source added that the group also discussed plans for Aniston’s 51st birthday, which is Feb. 11.
Aniston and Mayer — who dated for a year between 2008 and 2009 after meeting at an Oscar party — left the restaurant moments apart, witnesses said.
Also at the Tower Bar at other tables on Thursday were Amber Heard, Florence Pugh and Zach Braff, Monica Lewinsky, Martha Stewart, Dermot Mulroney, YSL designer Anthony Vaccarello and Parisian accessory designer Emmanuel Tomasini.
