‘Super discreet,’ password-only VIP Grammys party spoiled by Idina Menzel superfan

Broadway mogul Jordan Roth and renowned p.r. maven Rick Miramontez are more commonly associated with the Tonys than the Grammys.
But on Sunday they’re taking their high-class act to Hollywood to co-host the first-ever Broadway-centric Grammys bash. They’ll celebrate the five shows nominated for Best Musical Theater Album: “Ain’t Too Proud,” “Hadestown,” “Moulin Rouge!,” “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” and “Oklahoma!”

Their VIP party at Hollywood hot spot Tramp Stamp Granny’s was meant to have a “super discreet, speakeasy vibe,” we hear, until “an anonymous online blabbermouth,” called “IHeartIdina97,” posted on a theater blog: “Apparently all you need to do to get in is say the password, ‘Mame sent me.’ ”
Theater sources told us that the password has now been scrapped in favor of a proper guest list — which so far includes Billy Porter, Adrienne Warren, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Anaïs Mitchell, Jeremy Pope and the venue’s co-owner Darren Criss.
When reached for comment, Roth joked of the leak, “Leave it to an Idina Menzel superfan to sing like a canary!”
